Ministry of Social Affairs in cooperation with European al-Wafaa Campaign began distributing aid to people in need inside al-Yarmouk Camp to reduce suffering of the citizens who are besieged by the armed terrorist groups inside the camp.
Director of the Services Department at the Ministry, Feras Nabhan, said that aid will be offered to the camp’s residents for five days, pointing out that a number of food baskets were delivered to people with special needs.
For his part, Head of the campaign, Amen Abu Rashed, said that the aid offered to the citizens consists of food stuff and milk, adding that the aid will be sufficient for three weeks.
New batches of aid were delivered to al-Yarmouk Camp and 40 people in critical health condition were evacuated from the camp with support of the Syrian government.
