After 28 days of indiscriminate bombing, the Zionist occupation continued its savage aggression against Gaza Strip: on Sunday morning, 48 Palestinians were killed and more than 30 were injured.

The Israeli regime has hit another UN-run school sheltering Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 11 people.

The Israeli strike hit the school in the southern city of Rafah on Sunday, Gaza emergency services spokesman, Ashraf al-Qudra, said.

Chris Gunness, the spokesman for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said the school was sheltering thousands of Palestinian refugees who had fled Israel’s relentless attacks.

According to witnesses, the attack came while people were waiting in line for food supplies.

It is the third time in ten days that a UN-run school are targeted in the besieged enclave.

Some 22 other Palestinians, including several kids, were also killed in the Sunday attack on the southern town of Rafah. Ten of the victims were members of the same family.

According to local health officials, 16 Palestinians were also killed on Sunday, including several children, in the latest Israeli air raids in the southern and central Gaza.

Israel has been targeting the Gaza Strip with military attacks since July 8. The air, sea and land strikes by Israel have so far killed at least 1,755 people and injured over 9,200 others, according to Palestinian sources. Nearly 400 children are among the fatalities.

Palestinian resistance fighters continue their rocket attacks against Israeli cities in retaliation for Tel Aviv’s relentless onslaught on the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation army admits that one of its officers Killed in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army admitted that one of its officers, who was declared missing since Friday, was killed while participating in the aggression against Gaza.

The AFP quoted the occupation army as saying in statement that a “special committee” announced the death of officer Hadar Golden, adding that “he was killed in Friday clashes in Gaza Strip.”

Israeli  military spokeswoman rejected to answer a question on whether the body of the killed officer was found or not.

The number of the Israeli officers whose death has been admitted by the occupation army since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza reached 64.
