International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is annually observed on November 29. The peculiarity of this day is stemmed from the fact that on November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted an unjust resolution 181 on the partition of Palestine which provides for the establishment of a “Jewish State” and an “Arab State”, with Jerusalem as “a corpus separatum under a special international regime.”
With all the injustice and bias against the Palestinians implied in the resolution-having their homeland getting usurped by the Israeli enemy-, only the Zionist Israeli entity came into existence with full western and international collusion.
Dozens of resolutions stressing the right of Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on their territories have been adopted, yet these resolutions have remained mere ink on paper because of the US and western stances in support of the Zionist occupation entity.
